The ABC centre and PDC out reach team
The ABC Centre, based at Summerfield primary school is part of the West AIP (Area Inclusion Partnership) and offers support to children, schools and parents in a holistic way to help change challenging behaviours, develop personal, emotional and social skills in a nurturing environment and to help improve attendance.
Our work aims to prevent exclusion, raise children’s self-awareness and to teach them a range of personal strategies for developing healthy self-esteem, building resilience and confidence, managing their behaviour and social difficulties so that they can improve their learning opportunities both in and out of school.
